The first stop on the route is a historical museum in Balchik (street "Dimitar Zhelev" 2). He officially opened in 1937, although archaeological excavations in the area began in the early twentieth century on the initiative of the great scholar and friend of Bulgaria Karel Shkorpil examining the tomb of priest -healer from Roman age.

Today funds of Historical Museum holds more than twenty thousand exhibits, giving visitors a clear idea about the city's history since its formation in the VI century BC, right up to World War II and more specifically to the liberation of the Romanian occupation in 1940. The next stop on the route is the temple of Cybele, which was opened in 2007, when digging in Balchik. It was built in the III century BC, has an area of ​​a little less than one hundred square meters and is extremely well preserved. Here are found many statues and images of the goddess, known as the mother of the gods. Four of the statues of Cybele in the composition part and one of its symbols - lion. Especially valuable are the twenty-seven wholly or partially preserved inscription giving a lot of information about the customs and beliefs of the ancients. The temple was destroyed several times, the last time this happens in the Gothic invasion of 378 years, after which was never recovered.

Last destination on the tourist route is the old mill in the city, built in 1909 on the beach of anonymous industrial company. One year was built the best equipped of its time mill in Bulgaria as a performer is a German company. The building is of reinforced concrete, four-capacity seventy-five tons of grain per day, which is impressive for its time.

Unfortunately the mill fully operational only a few years, because during the First World War is under artillery fire from ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and incur serious damage.
