Price: Shelter " El Tepe " is also known as shelter "Kazana" . A small shelter in the Pirin Mountain. It is situated at 2445 meters altitude on the stone threshold between circuses " Great Kazan " and " Small Kazan" under the north face of Mount "Vihren" . Shelter "Kazana " was built in 1957 by BAS to be used as a shelter during the study of permanent glacier peak "Vihren" .
Represents poppy wooden building with metal frame. It is equipped with a lightning rod . The shelter is not electricity and water . Does not have a toilet and bathroom . Shelter "Kazana" is self-service and can accommodate up to 5 people. Accessible to tourists during the summer season. For these reasons it is recommended to be used mainly in emergency cases. Shelter "Kazana" is managed by the Tourist Association " El Tepe " in Bansko.
Starting point for the shelter is Bansko. From Bansko to hut " Bunderitsa " - 14 kilometer asphalt road. Hut " Bunderitsa " the marked green trail saddle " Premkata" which is located between the peaks " Vihren " and " Kutelo ."
