Route Bistritsa - Buda area - Al...

This relatively light and pleasant tourist route starts from the square in the center of Bistrica . The village is easily reached as to him there are several regular bus lines from Sofia. The starting point is heading towards the capital, and after reaching the bridge over the river Gabeshnitsa lies on its left bank upstream. Soon we find ourselves at the influx of Bistrishka and Yanchovska rivers , and shortly after it, and to bridge over which we pass on the right bank of the second of them .

Constantly follow the pan until it comes to signboard of the monastery "St. Petka" . Again crosses the river and after about 15 minutes you can reach the monastery , located in Kalugerovi meadows. The monastery was founded in the tenth century , but during the Ottoman conquest was destroyed. Restored only after the liberation , and in 1956 there was built a new church. Currently "St. Petka" is acting , except a church steeple with and without dome has several residential and commercial buildings .

Continue on dirt road to the west , by going through the eastern and southern slopes of Mount Skarchim . Gradually to tourists reveal more impressive panoramic views. South rises towering peaks Small Slice ( 2182 m altitude ) , Large Slice ( 2277 m ) Skoparnik ( 2226 meters ) and rocky Great Bought (1930 m). Southeast huddle soft hills and valleys of the Plana mountain with the highest peak Manastirishte ( 1338 m ) and the low is sheltered village of Bistrica .

Imperceptibly reaches Marina lawn area , whose southwest corner is a spring , near which is suitable for recreation. Soon after crossing the low roundabout path through mixed forest and pinky glades begins the ascent to the place Buddha. Hence also offers lovely views Simeonovski ridge.

The trail meanders gently and gradually climbs to the crest plateau where splits . The route follows us right deviation to the west and imperceptibly reaches the intermediate lift station of "Simeonovo" to hut "Aleko ." Here lies a broad promenade above the site barium to reach the meadow Popovcho . Follow the left bank of the river Yanchovska and out the bottom of the track Vitosko Lale (" Vitosha Tulip"). Walk along the rope line "Academica I", upstream and reaches the Romanesque monuments in the area . After a few steep climbs onto a road to hut "Aleko ."
