Route Ivan Vazov hut - Bistritsa...

The starting point of the route is one of the most secluded cabins in Rila - " Ivan Vazov " . Located on the right bank of the river Bistrica , 2300 meters above sea level , it is located in the northwestern corner of the circus big wood lice . Despite its remoteness from settlements and lack of passable roads for vehicles to her hut is an important point along the many routes in the Rila Mountains .

From " Ivan Vazov " route takes in a southerly direction along the crest of the ridge Otovitsa , after about an hour leads to the saddle , between Otovishki peak ( 2696 m ) and Seymenski Stone ( 2666 m ) . Hence the route headed west and after passing through Seymenski stone continues along the ridge , which gradually decreased to the saddle before Bird Peak ( 2536 m ) . After half an hour the track passes through it , and then descends again , this time downwards prior to Black Peak ( 2356 m ) .

He was the last great peak of this ridge. After about an hour you will find yourself on it and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view that opens from there. A steep descent to the northwest , and soon reached the forest in which you should continue to aim slightly to the right , to the saddle before Konyarnika .

The route does not lead to the top of the saddle so you have to take in a westerly direction along a small path that shortcuts Konyarnika north and a splendid view of Mount Small Polich ( 2342 m ) . Soon the track makes a sharp turn to the right and headed north , where the climb starts gradually to the still unfinished hut " White well ."

Hence slight descent on wide , gently sloping lawn and a panoramic , after which you have to encounter difficult distinct forest road. In some places it is quite steep and overgrown , but soon takes you to the valley of the Bistrica River and out to the main road . On it very easy and almost no physical effort will reach the village of Bistrica ( Blagoevgrad Municipality ) . Although the duration of the transition is relatively large (about 7:00 ), it is particularly difficult and reveals many of the beauty of the Southwest Rila .
