The tourist route from the hut "Macedonia " to the village of Bistrica lasts about 13 hours, so it is better to consider how to divide it into at least two parts. Along are no suitable huts or shelters, and if you can not travel a once, you'll have to sleep in the open. The transition is suitable for experienced hikers and if you get on it is advisable to know Rila very well because there is a serious danger to get confused , especially in bad weather.

Hut "Macedonia " is located 2166 meters above sea level in the saddle Bear Pass, separating the Great ( 2617 m ) and Small ( 2474 m ) Bear Peak . It is a key point in the southwestern Rila, because it is located in the path of many interesting and popular tourist routes. The first stage of the transition connecting it to Tsarev Peak ( 2376 m ) , initially walking trail to the hut "Ribni ezera ", which has a slight slope .

After about an hour to reach the fork , which starts from the left and leave the track to the huts " Grunchar " and "Ribni ezera" . From your left about half an hour to climb the scenic Big Bear Peak . From this route goes descending better be lying . Moving increasingly it ( in Mount Markov stone 2348 m ) after about five hours to reach the saddle Dobro Pole . Initially the descent is steep , but then the slope becomes more gentle and pleasant walking.

West of Dobro Pole rises the majestic figure of Tsarev peak. Movement is hampered by the dense juniper that covers its slopes . Climb to the summit takes about an hour and a half , but definitely worth it because it has a panoramic view of Polican ( 2615 m ) and Kalin ( 2667 m ) .

From Tsarev Peak trail turns northwest and descends gradually to the saddle between it and Rizvanitsa ( 2360 m ) and then climbs and the second peak. Saddle itself is a good place for the night , if you split a transition into two parts. Of course , only under favorable weather conditions. From Rizvanitsa continues steeply southwest on either side where you need to approach with caution because of the danger of slipping.

After about two hours you will find yourself in a small grove of trees near the tower for broadcasting. Continuing along the ridge several times to cross roads and about an hour to get to a few lonely houses. From here the route turns south and takes you on an asphalt road that continues to the right to reach the village of Bistrica .
