The starting point of the tourist route is the mountain village Boykovo ( Municipality Rodopi, District Plovdiv) . It is located 25 kilometers from the city of seven hills and is connected to it by a bus line running several times a week . The village is situated in the central part of the Rhodopes, on the northern slopes of Chernatitsa . Boykovo has a rich history that dates back some data from the Second Bulgarian Empire , today the village is one of the largest resorts in the Rhodopes , as it were built over 900 houses .
The route goes south from the village center to the monastery "Virgin Mary" , located about an hour and a half. Then the track continues to the south and shortcuts Ears Peak ( 1636 meters altitude ) to the west (right). The tip was an open plateau , so if you decide to get on it , you can enjoy wonderful views Chernatitsa and surrounding areas of Central Rhodopes . Mark to villages Sitovo and Lilkovo (both in the municipality of Rodopi ) is rarely ( in about half an hour ) , but it hardly needs to bother us because the road is wide and easily recognizable . The route follows the path of Municipality. Hour and a half after the ears will reach catchment area of Boykovo that we can know for unloading timber. Here for the first time , along with those of the hut "Ravnishta" Sitovo and Lilkovo , there is a sign of our ultimate goal - the summer resort "Byala cherkva"
Again moving south , not long after we reach the former military base , where the communist regime were housed rocket launchers . Resort " Byala cherkva" is located about 8 km after the division who travel for approximately two hours with a normal move.
In general the transition is very light and pleasant , the route moves on good forest roads and surroundings abound with wild strawberries , blueberries , mushrooms and herbs. From summer resort you can go to the resort " Studenetz " or huts " Chernatitsa " and " Zdravetz" . The total length of the route from Boykovo to "Byala cherkva " takes about 6 hours.
