Burgas Puppet Theatre

State Puppet Theatre in Burgas is a professional theater for children , founded in 1954 and 1962 . acquired state status.

Since then, the heroes of many Bulgarian and foreign classics for children survived under the limelight of the theater.

A whole host of talented actors with love and enthusiasm protects prestigious repertoire and mastered all systems puppets in performances created by the best directors, set designers and composers of Bulgaria with excellent working conditions, an enviable audience and profesionalno recognition of colleagues and theater .

With over 250 performances achieved over 10,000 performances played to nearly 3 million viewers overseas tours in Europe, Asia , Africa and America, numerous individual and team awards from National Surveys and International festivals, Puppetn Theatre -Burgas has established itself as one leading the country.

Group maintains a repertoire of at least 20 titles each season, there are 4 new productions and 300 performances .

Theater has a modern sound and lighting equipment and 200 seats.

In 2002 . director of the theater was awarded by the Minister of Culture with a plaque and a certificate for their contribution in the development of Bulgarian theater.

In 2006 . PT -Burgas was the first puppet theater, winner established by the Minister of Culture Award for the highest financial and exceptional artistic achievements.
