Регионалният исторически музей в Бургас е най-големият музей в Югоизточна България. It was founded in 1912. as a private museum Burgas Archaeological Society "Debelt" a group of intellectuals and supporters to reveal the history of Burgas lands. RIM Burgas is composed of four exposures located in separate buildings: Archaeological, Ethnographic, Historical and Natural.

The museum has established a year-round tourist functioning and educational program for the Bulgarian traditions, folklore and crafts featuring professional artists and amateurs. In the summer the museum work schools teaching children the traditions and the archaeological excavations organized youth and student-training practices. Increasingly popular is the "Adventure at the Museum", which is free and introduces children to the museum collections in the form of games. Helds in June. If you love animals and nature and want to learn more, you can join eco club "Vaya" at the Natural History Museum. Here you will find a stand of minerals and crystals, choose one that matches your zodiac sign.

RIM Burgas participate once again in the "European Researchers' Night", held in late September. The stand of the Ethnographic Museum is offering souvenirs, illustrating Bulgarian crafts. They are handmade entirely from natural and sustainable materials. Each visitor to the museum can bring a piece of authentic life and culture of the Bourgas region.

Any exposure of the museum is interesting and impresses visitors. The museum is working continuously to bring small and large to the past of this region in an innovative, exciting and fun way. Do not miss the eco Workshop, rituals, and projects that give a different image of museum exhibitions.
