The starting point of this route is a city in the center of Bourgas, the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", where is located the eponymous cathedral . It was built between 1897 - 1907 year at the site of a wooden church that was only in Burgas before Liberation. Represents basilica with crosses whose narthex is higher than the main dome . At the entrance, which is to the west, there is a beautiful stained glass representing the two holy brothers. The cathedral was painted by Kozhuharov анд Gyudzhenov, popular for their work on the temple- monument "Alexander Nevsky".

The distance from here to the next stop on our route was twenty yards . Ethnographic Museum is located on the " Slavianska" 69 and is housed in Brakalovata house built in 1873. On the first floor is arranged exposition presenting typical XIX century interiors of wealthy houses Burgas. Attention is also a place for exhibits acquaint visitors with the women's fashion from the same period.

The second floor houses the exhibition of traditional costumes of ethnic group lived in the region and settled here after the wars of the early twentieth century - Ruptsi, Tronki, Zagortsi, mountaineers, settlers from the territory of modern Turkey and Greece. The most curious part of this collection is presenting festive and ceremonial costumes used during traditional rituals - fire dancing, Midsummer bride, Karakachan wedding... Every summer at the Ethnographic Museum is organized school of crafts and arts.

Here we continue along "Slavianska" aberrant right on "Antim I" and soon come to the Archaeological Museum ( "Aleko Bogoridi " 21). It is situated in the ranks in 1894 building of the former Girls' High School. The exhibition includes artifacts from the prehistoric period, Thrace, Hellenic colonization, Rome and the Middle Ages. The museum presents objects of different materials and with various purposes.

Our next destination was the Art Gallery "Petko Zagorski " which is located on the "Bishop Simeon" 24, a few dozen meters from the Archaeological Museum. Its funds held over 2,800 works by hundreds of artists, including Vladimir Dimitrov - the Master, Bencho Obreshkov, Zlatyu Boyadziev, Dechko Uzunov and Svetlin Roussev .

Final destination of this route is a festival of sand sculptures . To reach it you have to make a trip through the central part of Burgas and the Sea Garden. Initially, the trail goes east along " Sofronii " and then go north on the street "Demokratsia" and then on "Dimitar Dimov" . The festival area is 5 acres and is located in the park "Lake" , on the southern Atanasovsko lake. The event was held in 2008 and collects thousands of fans and artists from around the world . The festival area attracts a lot of attention with his quirky castles, fairy tale characters , animals, plants and impressive progeny of the author's fantasy .
