Price: Near the village of Chavdar in picturesque Zlatishko - Pirdopska valley is an exceptional landmark - cascade " Kazanite" , which consists of five small waterfalls. Chavdar municipality is the smallest in the state and is located at the foot of the Balkan Mountains , about seventy kilometers from Sofia. There is a complete population of nearly one thousand and one hundred inhabitants.
Beautiful but unappreciated , to the waterfalls no footpaths , but the instruction of the people in the village and the description below can be reached in about an hour peaceful transition. Once arrived in the village, to go towards the " Kazanite" as the left should remain the river , and on the need to have lawns . Twenty minutes later, leading to bridge over the river, through which it passes , and the river goes down.
Along the way, passing to the bridge continue up the mountain , and on the right there is a creek that serves as a reference . Fifteen minutes and reaches the alcove above the river , where you can bring new energy and rest. Twenty meters above the two tributaries meet and continue on the right . There is no trail , but you can catch a dirt road that follows the creek . After some fifteen minutes drive leads to a large area of felled trees.
From there you can descend down the ravine and go down the river , and after about five minutes you can reach the beautiful waterfalls.
