Midzhur peak

Midzhur peak is on the border between Bulgaria and Serbia. A curious fact is that the beginning of the 90s of XX century , access to the summit is prohibited. Therefore the nature in the area has retained its originality and beauty. At the top you can see pyramids , which have inscriptions left by Bulgarian and Serbian tourists.

There are several ways of conquering the summit. One is from the village of Municipality. From there you can go by jeep along the Chuprenska hut "Forest paradise." The second option is to walk . Mine convenience in river Monastery and choose one of the two trails in the area - " Bekinska shobarka " or " Martynov stone ." From here the distance to the hut "Forest Paradise " is a little over 9 km. From there there is a marked trail that ran through the Biosphere Reserve " Chuprene " out of the main ridge of the saddle between Mount Replyanska Church ( 1969 m ) and Mount Ostra chuka ( 1,967 m ) . From here to the southeast across the tops Ostra chuka and Oba ( 2033 m ) saddle is reached under which rivers originate Lom Timok at 336 Border Pyramid ( 1780 m ) . Another way to climb the highest peak in the mountain Chiprovska is to start from the village of Dolni Lom .
