Ethnographic museum Old Dobrich

Open-Air Museum is located in the center of the modern town of Dobrich, in place of the old bazaar Odun. In the restored old town bazaar hereditary masters continue their centuries-long tradition of handicrafts. In older technologies and manual with original instruments in more than 30 workshops are made traditional items of pottery, blacksmith, weaving, cooperage, homespun (production of coarse cloth), Goldsmith and others. In the center of the complex was restored old clock tower, built in the eighteenth century, which is accessible to tourists.

In the ethnographic complex organized folklore performances and demonstrations of old Bulgarian crafts. It also provides educational programs for making objects from old techniques with traditional folk instruments.

In the exhibition hall of the complex is built permanent exhibition "Archeology of Dobrudja" and created Educational Museum, which is a partial reconstruction of the Renaissance School of the nineteenth century

Within the complex there is also a tavern and inn for the rest, which will offer delicious dishes from the traditional Bulgarian cuisine and pleasant atmosphere to relax. Saturday and Sunday does not work.

The museum is free and one of the places in Dobrich, which you can walk to relax and enjoy the Bulgarian - tradition, atmosphere and dishes.
