House Memorial Jordan Jovkov

House Memorial " Jordan Jovkov " is located in Dobrich, opened in 1980 in connection with the centenary of the birth of classic Bulgarian literature Jovkov Jordan - one of our most popular writers and humanists master narrative whose works are included in many anthologies worldwide and translated into over 40 languages.

The aim of the museum is the acquis and messages Jovkov become known to more people - both Bulgarians and foreigners , and is thus included in the hundred tourist sites under number 23. The museum has a total of 10,000 stock units guarding matter of life and creative work of novelists .

Great interest to tourists is a remarkable work of art of Stoimen Stoilov house - monument - "In the world of Yovkov heroes ," which was painted ceramics. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Union of Architects in Bulgaria museum building was awarded the highest architectural award - the " Arhskar " for design work ( Arch. A. Stoyanov, Arch. P. Ganchev, Arch. A. Koev, Arch . G. Mikhailov ) .
