Dobarsko is located 20 km from Bansko. It is located high in the Razlog valley in the Rila Mountains with picturesque views of the Pirin and Rhodope Mountains.

Undoubtedly the most interesting and extremely well-preserved ancient sites in Dobarsko and in the whole region is the church "St. St. Theodore Tyron and Stratilat" built back in 1614 years. Dug deep into the ground, it does not even have windows - just close like holes, holes in the thick stone walls. From that year dates and icons in the temple. The frescoes are from Case in 1672 to an unknown artist, probably from Debar school, moreover, as incredible as it sounds - they are originals. And something very curious - nothing in the church is restored. Done only refreshing, it is removed from the smoky layer ages. So today icons and frescoes glow almost its original luster. Do not randomly chosen name - Saints Teodor Tiron and Teodor Stratilat were Byzantine warriors, protectors of the Christian army.

Today the church is among the cultural monuments under UNESCO protection, but is open to visitors. The churchyard is very impressive, especially with many flowers during the warmer months. You will enjoy a wonderful walk, you can drink water from healing, but if you're lucky you can see round dance of Dobarsko grandmothers.
