Historical Museum Dryanovo

Historical Museum building was designed by Dimitar Krastev and opened in 1970, it is located in the city center, opposite the Lafchieva house and monument Kolyo Ficheto.

The museum preserves the historical and ethnographic heritage Dryanovo region. It includes creation of numerous exposures located in other buildings in the municipality. These are: "Kolyo Ficheto. Life and Art"; "Urban Life of the late 19th and early 20th century" and "icons Dryanovo", "Archaeology and Renaissance."

The exhibition "Kolyo Ficheto" is located in the building of the Historical museum. Photos, pictures and models of the most notable buildings of Kolio Ficheto exposed to enchant every visitor. Ikonomova House is one of two fully preserved houses of the master Kolio Ficheto. The house is exposed to a rich collection of medieval and Renaissance icons. Unique architectural complex national monument, it is Lafchieva house. It is only in Bulgaria preserved three-storey building in a traditional architectural style of the Renaissance period. "Archaeology and Renaissance" is in Dryanovo Monastery "St. Archangel Michael". Coins, weapons, pottery and household items illustrate the culture of the Thracians, Romans, Byzantines and Bulgarians present the history of this region.
