Price: Beach of Florentin is located opposite the eponymous island in one of the most beautiful places in the western Bulgarian Danube. It is possible to visit only during the warm summer months when the river level dropped enough to show the narrow, picturesque and covered with soft sand beach. However here every summer gather hundreds of tourists who prefer peace and unity with nature to noisy resorts.
The village is only eighteen kilometers north-west of the regional center Vidin and six kilometers from Novo Selo. Its population is less than four people, but in the summer they increased quite as many immigrants prefer to spend their holidays here.
Besides those who have property in Florentin, in the village come and tourists, as there are several small hotels and many guest houses which offer excellent accommodation. The beach is a narrow coastal strip, but at the expense of the water around it is calm, and the river becomes deep gradually, without any pits or whirlpools.
Although the beach is not guarded, visitors can rely on goals two GPs, which is definitely unusual for a village in northwestern Bulgaria. Near Florentin able to find many secluded spots where you can stretch your tent or caravan and camper place. However, you should be aware that the local beach with potential risks, especially if you have young children or you do not have good swimming skills. Beach is also used for fishing and water sports.
