The route of the trail " Roman Road" passes through woodland almost equal between Bojentsi and Gabrovo. Transition offers plenty of beautiful panoramic views of the Central Balkan Mountains and is extremely accessible for tourists with poor physical fitness , and groups of children . The route can be traveled in all seasons , offering different views. Of course, the most preferred are the late spring , summer and early autumn , but winter here is very beautiful and worth to take such an initiative , as long as you are well prepared and equipped .

As the name suggests ecotrail it follows the route of the ancient Roman road connecting road from Nicopolis Istrum in Augusta Traiana for Constantinople Gradishteto locality near Gabrovo , where the strong security fortress. In later times , especially during the Renaissance , the route is used as a shortcut between one of the most prosperous merchant centers - Gabrovo and Bozhentsite .
