Price: Ecopath " Usana" is very mild and pleasant passage , combining beautiful scenery of Central Stara Planina , the magical appeal of the geographical center of Bulgaria and serenity emanates from the depths of the mountain. It travels only about an hour and offers tourists plenty of places to rest and picnic .
Usana area is located in the middle part of the mountain , near the Shipka Pass , which is the one of the most important corridors linking north and south Bulgaria . The easiest starting point to reach it is the city of Gabrovo, from where 22 -mile asphalt road. Currently, Usana is one of the fastest growing tourist and ski centers in the Central Balkan Mountains. The eco-trail can be traveled in all seasons , and , of course, tourists should be informed in advance weather conditions and to select the appropriate equipment.
Beginning of the route is on the left of the hotel " Impulse" , which is located in the northern part of the area Usana representing a huge mountain meadows used for grazing in the past . The track is easily recognizable and well marked ( in blue) has a circular shape and ends back at the hotel . At the end of eco-trail is built playground with barbecue, which is suitable for family recreation and educate kids with the charm of the mountain.
All along the route were built various sports facilities and recreation . There is also a terrace from which breathtaking views of the peaks Shipka ( 1326 m altitude ) and Buzludza ( 1441 m ) , which are located to the south, situated on the western powerful array Triglav ( with Great Kademlia peak - 2275 m ) and Gabrovo on north . The trail runs along the cave Lednitsata. Almost every section of the track allows us to see the highest peak in the Shipka Stara Planina - Ispolin( 1524 m ), located in close proximity to the area Usana .
If desired itinerary can be further shortened because deviation from it leads to the hotel " Edelweiss" . Eco is suitable for all lovers of quiet time in the mountains, no extreme sports or strenuous hikes.
