Uzana

You can`t visit this unique area and not remain fascinated by it, not to love it. In its embrace the mountain has preserved this extraordinary place where you can make full load with power for hours to enjoy its majesty and beauty. Uzana is strategically located in the geographical center of Bulgaria and like all roads lead to it. Many eco trails start from here to the National park "Central Balkan" and Nature Park "Bulgarian". The area is popular with many opportunities available for summer vacations and weekend outings, combined with walks, gathering mushrooms, berries and herbs. The meadow is surrounded by beech forests, cut by numerous trails and old green lanes, filled with caves and wonderful world of plants and animals. In winter the snow is fluffy and promises lots of fun. Each of the 8 ski slopes has lift. At the resort you can rent full equipment available for rent more snowmobiles, which tour the area or a small downhill ski runs remain unforgettable. In the area there are many lodges and hotels that offer comfort to each taste. Mobile operators have coverage in the region, which is convenient for some and not like others.

Uzana Chalet is a massive three-storey building with a capacity of 11 rooms with 92 seats. The path to the hut is paved, there is a small parking lot. Has a dining room, but can also use BBQ facilities and a kitchen. Breakfast costs BGN 12 for adults and 5 for children. You can order food in advance.

Eco Trail Uzana is one of the newly built eco-trails and is located on the large lawn bilna in Uzana resort area. The path starts between the hotel and restaurant Pulse Three bears. The route is approximately 1 hour, and the path were built many places for recreation, "classroom", "Indian" corner, multiple ladders on the cliffs, terraces with nice views, and pass along the entrance of the cave Ledniškata. The trail offers beautiful views of the peaks of Shipka, Buzludzha, Nephilim, Triglav and botev (champion of the mountain Stara Planina). Extremely suitable for a walk with the kids, as there are enough information plates and markings.

By Uzana can be reached except by car and by bus, which departs from Gabrovo. The seal is located at the Information Centre which is open year round, every day.
