Golden Sands beach

The beach of "Golden Sands" is one of the best and certainly the most popular along our northern coast. The origin of its name tells a curious legend. According to her pirate ship discharged this great treasure that was buried on the beach. Because of the severity of the crew to their innocent victims, however, the gods punished them and become the treasure in the sand. So the name of the beach.

Going back to reality, we must admit that the name of Golden Sands is largely justified. Very fine and a specific color, the sand here really reminds precious metals. The beach is long and relatively wide, the climate is excellent and very healthy, near a wonderful hot springs.

Because of its rich flora, fauna and amazing scenery, Golden Sands was declared a natural park. The beach is only seventeen miles from the sea capital Varna and is the most popular resort on the northern coast. Unlike most places in this part of our coast line, this sea remains warm even at night, and the water temperature is such that bathing is not only possible but pleasant from May until October.

Golden Sands has built one of the largest resorts in Bulgaria. There are many hotels that create all conditions for all types of tourism - family, cultural, congress and others. It offers excellent sports facilities, multiple dining venues, entertainment venues, nightclubs, discos and did everything might think even the most demanding tourist. The complex is a favorite tourist destination for families with children. However, prices are high for Bulgarian standards, so in the "Golden Sands" stay mostly foreigners.
