The starting point of this light and pleasant tourist route is the famous rock Aladja Monastery. It is located two kilometers from the resort " Golden Sands" and ten of Varna. The route is traveled only about three quarters of an hour and is the shortest route in the area.
The first evidence of the monastery were from XII century - the time of Byzantine rule in the Bulgarian lands and the beginning of the Second Bulgarian Empire, but a number of archaeological finds indicate that the rock niches are occupied almost a millennium earlier - in the era of early Christianity in the Roman Empire. The place attracts thousands of tourists every year not only because of its strong cultural and historical charge, but also because it offers unforgettable landmarks . The monastery is carved into sheer rock cliff of Frangensko plateau where limestone cliffs impress with its odd shapes and colorful structures, which owes its name to the monastery (in Turkish "aladzha" means "colorful" ) .
Well shaped and marked road connects Aladza monastery hut by going through a parking lot with a nice fountain. The route is marked with an orange color and is easily recognizable for its entire length. We are on lane on both sides of which grow lilacs , which is a unique experience during their flowering (May month of June ) . In her descend to the ridge Upper Germany until we reach the T -junction of the highway .
Continue under the bridge, and soon we reach the holiday home port "Varna". Here the route goes along the fence of the station to take us to a park -hotel "Biljana" . Distance to the end point of the route - holiday home "Academic" , is traveling for a few minutes and does not require any physical effort. The transition offers slightly different from the traditional way of spending near the Black Sea coast. Quite easily be used to combine a visit to the cultural object with a nice beach.
