The starting point of this short ( about an hour and a half ) and a pleasant rural route is the most visited rock monastery in Bulgaria - Aladza monastery. The first strong evidence for the existence of his XII century, but a number of findings indicate that it is significantly older and caves in the limestone rocks are inhabited by hermit monks still in the early Christian period (III - IV century AD ) . Today it attracts thousands of tourists annually with the beauty of the surrounding nature and strength of the human spirit and faith which testify his raw " cells " in the rock.
From Aladza (translated from Turkish " colorful " ) monastery route takes us to the hut located nearby. Leaves left on the well-marked trail and leads to a panoramic gazebo where you can combine holidays to enjoy the beautiful views of the area of the monastery and the resort "Golden Sands" .
