Park Nikolai Panayotov

Nikolai Panaiotov Park is located in the most populated area - Spring in Gorna Oryahovitsa. By 2010, the park was called Spring, and after its renovation , named after Nikolay Panayotov , a former mayor , builder of modern Upper Oriahovitsa. In 2011 , a complete reconstruction of the park under the " Beautiful Bulgaria" project . Enclosed are new gazebos , benches for rest and playgrounds with plastic play equipment that are fully consistent with safety . The park is planted young plants, are built paths with flowers. As in most modern parks here and there is a fitness center and outdoor skateboard sites that are a favorite place for sports . With financial assistance from the same program and build another sports facility , a football pitch, training stadium and tennis courts. The site is located near the sports hall "Nikola Petrov" and "Lokomotiv" stadium . Rehabilitation of park area was erected a memorial bust of former mayor Nikolai Panaiotov using a number of donors. Park is a favorite place for walking and entertainment not only among kids but among different age groups. It complements the shape of Upper Oriahovitsa as a modern and developing city and is one of the most visited places in the city.
