In the area of white grass near the village Hlyabovo, is one of the most interesting monuments of antiquity - the dolmens.

Dolmens (from Breton: Dol - table, and me - stone) are the first representatives of the monumental tomb architecture in the Bulgarian lands. They are distributed mainly in the territory of Haskovo region in Strandja and Sakar Mountains and the Eastern Rhodopes. They are precursors of later created Thracian tombs, as is that of a village of Alexandro. They Thracians have taken the bodies of the dead. This kind of tomb structures were used in these lands between XII and VI century BC

In essence, the dolmens are elongated single-or dual-chamber rooms whose walls are formed of natural or roughly shaped blocks of stone covered over with another large stone block. After the funeral on the dolmen is filling with a small mound of earth and small stones.

Hlyabovo dolmen near the village is the largest in Bulgaria. The ancient monument is dated to early Iron Age (about 1050-500 BC on). It is thought that the dolmens were built for people with high social status, but not yet found evidence for a specific person.

The dolmen is located after the village (towards Harmanli), only 100 meters from the road. Access to the dolmen is free, not paid entry fees.
