The nature of the Municipality Ivaylovgrad is very picturesque. In spring drifts of pink blooming almond; summer air hardening of narcotic scent of ripening figs and tobacco autumn vineyard pouring grapes. The winter here is almost unknown. In the Municipality Ivaylovgrad is the "White River meanders" - a protected wild area and a huge variety of protected species. It is one of the most picturesque dam in the country and has 14 km of coastline. Every year in early June, here is the final regatta on the Republican canoeing.

Grand Mound near the village Svirachi is located 6 km southwest of Ivaylovgrad and near the ancient villa "Armira". It is located on a hill east of the village.

Ivajlovgrad area is known for the development of sericulture - the production of silk, wine, tobacco and “yahnadzhiystvoto” - local craft of extraction of oil from sesame. Paskaleva house is one of the most striking examples of traditional urban house from the end of the XIX century, declared a cultural monument. It has been restored and it houses the local ethnographic collection, featuring traditional lifestyle and livelihood in the region during the Renaissance IVAYLOVGRAD. In Ivaylovgrad is newly History Museum, which presents three exhibitions and has a beautiful garden, walkways and recreation areas.

The city offers many places to stay, including luxury hotels. To see at least some of the sights in the area have to book a room in advance.
