In the heart of Stara Planina Mountain, 640 meters above sea visochina is the pearl of the Kotel mountain - Zheravna. In 1958 the village was declared a museum reserve. Here was born and one of the giants of Bulgarian literature - Jordan Jovkov , created the masterpiece in Bulgarian prose - collection of stories dedicated to Zheravna - Old Mountain legends.
