Around the mouth of the biggest Bulgarian river flows into the Black Sea - Kamchia river is rife unique dense forests. This wondrous place is situated about 25 km south of Varna. By the end of 19 century Longoz forest extends 100 square miles, today they survive only 12 focused on her mouth and declared a protected territory.
Kamchia river called once and Panisos, and Ticha, often spilling water into the valley. Thus created the conditions for setting this jungle-like vegetation - Longoza. In order to protect valuable forest ecosystem in 1951 the area was declared a nature reserve Kamchia. Nearby is a protected area Kamchia Sands, covering 3.726 square kilometers. It covers the main part of the largest area of sand dunes on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Also, dense forests, marsh ecosystems, shrub and grass formations. In Kamchia river is found about 25 species of fish - the main livelihood of the local fishing village. Around the northern mouth of the river to the Black Sea coast is a resort Kamchia.
Here indeed is the longest continuous sea beach in Bulgaria starting from campsites 'Paradise' and 'Romantic' collated in part, passing through beach in Shkorpilovtsi and ending in black cape in the south.
