Price: Balkan Roses Chalet is the work of the Red Cross. Completed in 1933 , it is located 1108 meters above sea level on the banks of the Grand River , in countries of the path to the huts Handsome and Vasil Levski .
The total capacity of the two buildings that make up the lodge is fifty and rooms respectively with two, four or more beds. The toilets are outside , and the buildings themselves are water and electricity . The tourists are kitchen chairs , cutlery and solid fuel stoves for heating .
"Balkan Roses " is a convenient starting point for transition to the many beauties of the central mountains. One of them is the most difficult to reach peak in Stara Planina - Large compartment. From there you should take the marked trail , which winds through the hills and rocks. The road to the summit takes three hours with an average pace. From there, anyone with power of further adventures can be lowered to Vasil Levski hut , which is close to Karlovo .
There are many starting points for the hut . From Karlovo a marked trail will take three hours and there are designated routes from Sopot , Troyan , Apriltsi, villages Vasil Levski , Cherni Osam and Oreshak, as well as a number of other huts scattered in the vicinity. Closest , about 30 minutes "Hubavets ."
Near the hut "Balkan Roses " is less famous , but spectacular Black waterfall . The road is along the Old River and 10 minutes to reach the sharp right bend in the river . There she crosses and takes the first left copious flow . Since few people know about the place lacks ravine trail is narrow and difficult to traverse , but ten minutes work is a small price to view the waterfall that descends majestically from fifty feet splashing freshness around.
