Price: The starting point of the hiking trail is hut " Ambaritsa ." It is located on the northern slopes of Central Stara Planina Mountain, 1,503 meters above sea level in the area of Long Title , located east of Mount Lily mound ( 1,590 m ) . It consists of two buildings ( old and new ) with a total capacity of 110 seats .
The route turns south of the cabin to the Stara Planina ridge, where it leads a well-defined path through the highest parts of the coatings with high pastures Long Title. Once you pass the fork to hut "good" route continues south still , shortcutting the northeastern slopes of Ambaritsa ( Levski , 2166 m ) .
Thus reaches the nodal ridge Platneshki Yarove located between the peaks Ambaritsa west and Small Sold (2100 m) to the east. This is the place from which the track is transferred over the ridge to the southeast and shortcuts slopes of Little cabin.
After about 20-30 minutes (depending on the pace and weather conditions ) the route crosses the path connecting chalets "Dobrila" and " Vasil Levski " and then descends to the south , to alpine pastures with steep slope . Western boundary of the grassy area to the side is the main Stara Planina ridge Hubavets ridge formed across watershed of the Little and Big River , which then form the Old River .
Descending from it as panoramic location offering stunning views of the ridge of the mountain and sub-Balkan valley landmark is located in the lower pasture pen . About an hour after you pass by , the route enters the beautiful beech forest , where the path is significantly sloped and follows the right bank of the picturesque bed of a small river .
Again about an hour later , still following the valley of the wild river , the trail leads to "Hubavets " located on the place where the Big and Little River were merged to form Old River . Transition is particularly severe and prolonged (about 4 hours) , but should be used only during the warmer months because winter and early spring, many areas are avalanche .
"Hubavets " is a two-storey building with 50 seats and is located at the foot of the ridge of the Balkan Mountain. It is a point in many of the most attractive routes in the area . Its surroundings offer spectacular scenery and solitude away from the hectic daily routine.
