Waterfall "Suchurum"

Waterfall "Suchurum" (15 m) translated "fly water ', is located one kilometer north of Karlovo in the Balkan Mountains above the city hydroelectric plant. Old River waters rushed down from the heights, broken into sharp stones in a sheer pantomime.

Proximity to the city and well maintained asphalt road to the foot of the mountain are made waterfall attraction for visitors and a favorite place for relaxation, walks and summer picnics for residents of Karlovo region. Leads to the waterfall path that Karlovo long been called "Alley of love." Here, even at late hours you can find couples embracing. The walk to the waterfall is a romantic at all of the day - and day, and moonlight. The distance is taken for 15 minutes from downtown. There is no way to mistake-go along "Waterfall" restaurant you pass, then along the tavern "Waterfall."

At the end of the park is the monument of the famous mountaineer Hristo Prodanov. Opposite it is the factory for wool donors of Sofia University Evlogi and Hristo Georgiev. 200m after it passes over the bridge and soon you find yourself within the HPP "Karlovo". Literally pass along the engine compartment and you can peek through the windows to see how the equipment.

Seconds later you find yourself to enchanting waterfall. The view is breathtaking with its beauty.

Suchurum waterfall is a symbol of Karlovo for 2012.
