Route Karnare village - Dermenka...

The starting point of the tourist route is a village Karnare (Karlovo municipality , Plovdiv District) . To liberation it is inhabited by Turks and Bulgarians began to establish themselves there after Unification ( 1885 ) . During the Renaissance it has great strategic position as a destination of mountain pass between Trojan and Karnare - one of the busiest roads connecting today's North and South Bulgaria .

Karnare the village there are regular buses from Plovdiv and Karlovo . You stop and passenger trains running through the sub-Balkan valley . It should be borne in mind that no dormitory village , but if necessary it is possible to rent a room for an overnight stay .

Path of Karnare hut " Dermenka " is excellent recognizable and marked. From the center of the village head north , passing through orchards, then the path starts to gradually climbing , climbing on the bare slopes of Jafar dere . This part of the transition is uncomfortable on hot summer days because of direct exposure to sunlight , but in contrast, offers great views of the Stara Planina ridge , sub-Balkan valley Average forest and even in good weather to the northern slopes of the Rhodopes.

By Jafar gully route continues along the side towards Stara Planina to ridge Thick share directed to the Northeast in Orman gully serpentine shaped climbing the steep slopes of the hill Cavaco . The path continues still to you by gaining more height and reach alpine meadow , where there are beautiful views located on the western tip Sivria . This is the last steep ascent route.

After clearing the route runs along the pine forest , moving diagonally to the northeast, reaching the crest of the Troyan Balkan east of Mount Tabiite . It was here that the route merges with the ridge trail or area of the hut " Dermenka ." Its distance is small, the transition is horizontal and offers many views to Southern Bulgaria , so it remains only to enjoy .
