The starting point of this route is a historical museum in one of the most beautiful cities on the Black Sea coast - Kavarna (street "Black Sea" 1 B). It is housed in a restored medieval bath, which is near the old fountain in the town square. The exhibition presents the social and economic development of the city from the early Middle Ages, right up to 1940, when Southern Dobrudja was returned to Bulgaria from Romania.

The largest collections of objects related to the peoples who inhabited the Roman (later Byzantine) province of Scythia Minor and artifacts testifying to the development of the city and the region during the First and Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Here is stored a large amount of numismatic values ​​from different eras, testifying to the intense marketing of Kavarna with Western Europe, Byzantium and the Italian republics.

The next stop on the route is located in the same building exhibition "Dobrudja and the Sea", which presents the history of seafaring and maritime trade in these lands. Here you can see the anchors, vessels of wine and olive oil, various fishing tackle, and even treasure from Thracian period of Kavarna. From the route takes us to the Art Gallery in Kavarna (street "Aheloi" 1) where are stored more than a thousand works of Bulgarian and foreign authors.

Hence we turn to two church "St. George" and "Virgin Mary". The first is the oldest preserved Renaissance building in the city. Single nave church with a semi-cylindrical ceiling and valuable icons, "St. George" attracts the attention of tourists and that was built back in 1836. The temple was burned down in 1877, while its retoring to it was built a belfry. "Virgin Mary" was also built in the Renaissance (1860) and the impressive architecture and murals.

To the last stop on the route, Kaliakra cape, can be reached by car or an organized transport. It there is a small whole two kilometers offshore and in places is high more than seventy meters, with a rocky and steep walls. In Antiquity and the Middle Ages there important fortress and commercial center, the remains of which have been turned into an archaeological reserve. Because of the impressive diversity of flora and fauna and especially because here the road passes the annual migration of birds known as Via Pontica, Kaliakra is declared a nature reserve.
