Banska Garden is a park in the central part of Kyustendil , who for years has been among the most visited places for meetings and a walk. The park is located Chifte bathroom which is late medieval Turkish bath converted into a public bathroom . The bathroom is used today, and is designed for SPA . Banska garden park was created in 1912 in connection with the reconstruction of central bathhouse , designed by architect Hristo Kovechevski . The first trees are plane trees that were planted at the main entrance of the bathroom. In 1974 he planted conifers Thuja and spruce , and in 1935 a gardener of Kyustendil Municipality - Al . Balabanov planting paulownia, weeping mulberry, ornamental shrubs and flower beds. Just below the weeping mulberry is a bust monument of the poet Peyo Iavorov opened in 1929 . The park , under the plane trees there is a fountain. It was created by architect P. Zlatarev and a bronze plastic composition " children playing ." Many visitors and locals themselves do not miss the opportunity to be photographed with this work of art . Undoubtedly park " Banska Garden " is emblematic place Kyustendil suitable for walking and cultural ecotourism .
