Price: Hiking is short and easy, suitable for nature lovers of all ages , even if you are not very good physical condition . The track can be overcome in all seasons , as long as the transition is consistent with the weather and the tourists are provided with suitable equipment.
The starting point of the route is located 10 kilometers northeast of Stara Zagora, the village Kolena. The two destinations are connected by regular bus line that you can use in case you do not want to prolong and complicate the transition . Trips leave from Stara Zagora district " Three spouts - North " and need to get off of them at the bus stop near the bridge before the village Kolena.
Here lies northwest of the asphalt road leading to the villages Lilac and Shanovo . Throughout this part of the transition to the north (right) stands rounded and covered with beautiful oak forest Great White Mount . Once the road turned north , the route leaves him and heads west , passing the side of the picturesque lake "Kolena" . After that the trail goes north on a clear path along the coast . Soon they reached a beautiful meadow with a fountain and a large walnut, which can do the rest .
The track still continues to move along the reservoir until it reaches the place where the trail climbs through rocky terrain between low trees and turn left to enter the narrow mountain valley . For about an hour after departure from the bridge of the village Kolena reaches the site of Lenishta , which is elongated lawn with fountain and fireplace located in the forest . At the north end is the two-storey hunting lodge "Little Strandja " of hunters of Hrishteni village .
From the area of Lenishta route continues south- southwest logging road . With some slight climbing passes Samodivska meadow and Curve Dol reaches lowest saddle Mushroom Meadow . It offers numerous panoramic views - south to Stara Zagora field , behind which are seen lower peaks of the Eastern Rhodopes . Southeast does behind numerous scattered villages in the valley , rises Monastery Heights and Sakar .
The route takes us to the left ( southeast ), descending on a pleasant slope to the nearby village Hrishteni . The track runs behind the north wall of the church and down to the bus station where you can catch transport to Stara Zagora. The transition is very nice and last no more than two hours.
