Price: Island Kozloduy is located north of the city, opposite the town. It is the second largest Bulgarian island in the Danube River after Belene (Persina). Its shape is elongated from west to east, as its length is almost twelve kilometers at a maximum width of just over a kilometer. At least off the Bulgarian coast is two hundred and twenty meters.
If you decide to spend a few hours or days here, you can use the services of the small ferry that spends agricultural machinery to farmers who cultivate this part of the island, which is not flooded by spring high waters of the Danube. Kozloduy has pastures and places of nesting waterfowl. It was there where their habitats in the lower East Side, are several small beaches.
This way you have the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife and its colorful inhabitants, lying on the shore, on the fine and clean sand. The beaches on the island Plant in any case are not spacious but are instead hidden and allow all of us whose life goes into hurry and stress, to relax and to fully relax away from the hustle of the big resorts.
Needless to say that coming here, you should take with you everything you need - food, water and clothing, but if you stay for a few days and tent. Camping there are plenty of places - the majority of the island is forested with cottonwood, so you can sit in one of the cool and cozy groves. Be careful, though, because NPP has quite a swamp, from which you should stay away because of the potential hazards and many mosquitoes.
The river here is relatively shallow and sloping bottom, so you can relax and enjoy your favorite water activities without worrying about their safety. The location offers excellent conditions for fishing. You can also practice kayaking or just ask one of the local fishermen to make you a boat on the river. It is worth because you will learn a lot about the area and the prices are symbolic.
