Route Krustevich village - Baric...

The starting point of this route is a tourist village Krastevich ( Hissar region , province Plovdiv) . It can be reached by car from the town of Hissar , though if desired to allow the distance to be traveled on foot . Basically the route is planned for three or four-day transition to have the opportunity to enjoy the natural sights and exploring the area .

From the village Krastevich hut "Buntovna " also could not get a car in 12 -mile paved road and a trail (about 3 hours). The pedestrian route begins north of the village and passes through Adatepe and Kyuere . From sloping ascent begins on the slopes of the Central Forest by going through varied terrain , route until reaching Horsehead meadow. The area is protected because of ancient beech forest that grows here . If you selected the option to scroll through the track slower , you can take the opportunity to relax on Knight lawn and enjoy the tranquility that offers the area.

It is located here hut "Buntvna " , known by its old name " Partizanska" It is located 1200 meters above sea level and is the starting point for the ascent of Mount Wolf ( 1243 meters , an hour from the hut ) and Panagyurishte. Horse Meadow is a wonderful view to the soft hills of the forest and the Thracian Plain , behind which differ powerful northern slopes of the Rhodopes. On a clear day can be seen to the southwest Rila and west eye can see even Vitosha . Whole horizon to the north is occupied by a series of seemingly endless peaks of the Central Stara Planina.

Whether you choose to stay overnight at the hut "Buntvna" or continue on the same day , the distance from it to the next " station " hut " Baricadite " takes about three hours , following Srednogorski before. The trail is well marked , and on " Barikadite " you can climb the eponymous peak ( 1324 m ) overlooking Mededere place . Barikadite peak is particularly picturesque with soft hills covered with old beech forest , and here and there are scattered huge granite boulders .

From " Barikadite " to hut " Chivira " ( 1370 m ) is reached in about two hours with a normal move , again following a well- marked trail along the ridge of the Central Forest. Here the route passes through the tombs and out on the scenic Aleksitsa peak ( 1534 m ) . To built on the southeastern slope of the eponymous peak (1450 m) cabin " Fenera" leads steeply descending path. The descent to the town of Hissar in it Prisadite area.
