Drama Puppet Theatre DImitar Dimov

On 01.09.1960g . created State Theatre "Dimitar Dimov" three artistic ensembles - pop music , drama and puppets. The first play staged at the theater was " Misunderstood Civilization " Dobri Voynikov . Director of the show is Costa Conev .

Since 1980 . Puppet composition is established as a separate formation. The theater has two bands - music with orchestra, ballet, singing and dramatic formation.

The size of the theater is 160 people. Annual exports over 300 theater performances to 250,000 audience. The young troupe of actors that comes with Dimitar Ignatov and young designers Ivan Karev and Merry Statkova realize repertory theater that require not only a regional but also national theater landscape. In 2000 - the year closed musical formation . The theater joins the existing city Puppet Theatre " Filip Filipov ." The theater won reputation in a number of prestigious international forums.

In 2010 a Decree to the theater joined State Drama - Musical Theatre " Kadrie Lyatifova "
