This tourist route starts from hut "Studen Kladenets" , located in the eponymous hunting ground. It is located on the southern shores of one of the largest dams in Bulgaria the same name. From the starting point go through the place Sheytana, where you can enjoy a magnificent riverbed of Arda. Here the river flows through the one-kilometer canyon gorge made of cracked andesite rocks.

From Sheytana continues along the river and up to the dam. From here you can take a boat along the left shore of the lake to get to the place Sipeite where heavily cracked rocks with bizarre shapes rise straight from the waters of the lake. This place again descends on the dam and continue along it to reach Konyovskiya Bay. Go to Kaloyantsi village, near which the dam is a picturesque island with its picturesque impressive rock structures.

Village Kaloyantsi occurs relatively late - in early XIX century under the name Karabasla. It is believed that the name comes from the Turkish word combination "kara bahtla" (" black destiny" ) , because in the past the population mass extinction of plague. Whether this dark history is reliable, it has long been part of the past. In 1912, the village became part of Bulgaria, and after the construction of the dam "Studen Kladenets" around it were built restaurants, hotels, bungalows and other facilities for tourism.

From the village Kaloyantsi route continues along the lake, heading for the bus stop "Sredna Arda". In this section of the route more observant visitors can see black storks nesting pairs, chosen to dwell in the high and inaccessible cliffs in the area. The last part of this transition takes us to the village Zvezdelina, again walking along the shore of the lake "Studen Kladenets" .

The village is best known in a turbe ( tomb , a small mausoleum of Muslim saints ) of Nazar Baba. It is supported by local Alevi and it is interesting that there is no roof, because the world does not tolerate anything that separates it from the open sky. Near the village is picturesque and wide bay, covered with sand and gravel.

The entire transition lasts about 4 hours. You can sleep in Zvezdelina or take one of the regular buses to Kardzhali.
