The old district of Lovech - Reserve "Varosha" is one of the most visited sites related to the life and work of the Apostle of Freedom Museum - "Vasil Levski". Vasil Ivanov Kounchev-Levski most revered hero of Bulgarian history. Fighter for democracy and freedom, revolutionary and champion of equality, it is one of the main ideologists and organizers of the struggle for national liberation in the XIX century. People from Lovech boasts the richest collection of personal belongings of Levski. This store personal weapons (sword and dagger) of Levski and his little printing press on which he printed stationery receipts accounting for the amounts received by the revolutionary committees. One of the most interesting exhibits is a copy of his personal notebook, the proclamation of 1869, which he wrote and distributed around the country. Here are the notes and counterfeit Turkish stamps Deacon used. Among the exhibits are items of associates and companions of the Apostle in Lovech. The museum is open every day, with a lunch break between 12 and 14 h in the summer, and between the years 12 and 13 hours in winter. Entertainment talk will cost 5 lev, and the entrance is 1 lev for children and students, and 2 lev for adults. Museum "Vasil Levski" is inscribed on the list of hundred travel sites.

Apart from the museum in "Varosha" you can see the Ethnographic complex, and on top of the hill above the old town is located Lovech fortress. Next to it was erected 14-foot monument of Vassil Levski.
