In his native village Mogilitsa is the largest late medieval feudal castle on the Balkan Peninsula - Agushevi konatsi. Near them is a long way to Rudozem, which continues to the village. The road runs along the valley of Arda River in its upper part. Mogilitsa is situated on both banks of the river.
Agushevi Konatsi was built in the mid-nineteenth century Bulgarian master builders for Agus Aga and his three sons. That is where the name comes today. Construction of Agushevi Konak lasted 20 years.
The castle has 221 windows, 86 doors and 24 chimneys.
Agushevi konatsi consist of three series-connected with the yard residential and commercial buildings and isolated from one another by internal walls. In every yard was located in a well, a house master, the domestics, the premises for temporary workers on the farm, stables, barn, granary and other business premises.
Agushevi Konatsi declared an architectural and artistic monument of national significance, but changes in the 90 years of the twentieth century have been restituted and still result in lawsuits for their property. So long and they are closed to visitors.
