The birthplace of Raina in Panagyurishte is a cultural monument of national importance. It is representative of the asymmetric type house. Ancient inscription preserved on one of the beams of the great gates, according to year of construction - 1673 and its first owners - Taso and Miho. In this home, on 18.01.1856 was born the future bearer of the April Uprising - Popgeorgieva Foutekova Rayna - Rayna Princess. In the courtyard of the house-museum is a marble sculpture of a standard-bearer, which is stored in its remains. In the former workshop on the first floor is presented documentary - tangible exposition dedicated to the life and the role of Princess Raina during the April uprising. Ethnographic exhibition on the second floor gives an atmosphere in which born and grew the remarkable Bulgarian. The legendary Princess Raina flag sewn on April uprising was also exhibited in the museum. On the day of the announcement of the uprising she flutters alongside Benkovski. Few know that Princess Raina is the first Bulgarian graduate midwife, received his education in Moscow, where he was sent immediately after his release from prison. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the April Uprising it sewn three new flags - the original copies of which are preserved two - here in her native house in the Military Museum in Sofia. The original flag that was captured by Hafiz Pasha was taken to the Konak in Haskovo. It burns, but some argue that the flag has been conserved to this days is with Istanbul.
