Belasitsa Hut

Hut " Belasitza " is located in Mountain Belasitza . Situated on the northern mountain slope in the "Ilievska niva" of approximately 720 meters above sea level. The chalet is located in the only forest of chestnut and provides visitors wonderful views of the town of Melnik and Pirin , and on the ridge of the mountain to Greece and Lake Kirkini . Belasitza is the newest park in Bulgaria, whose task is to preserve for future generations the unique ancient chestnut forests , and many other valuable species of plants and animals.

Hut " Belasitza " is a three-storey building. Supplied with water and electricity . Has 70 accommodation places which are divided into 20 rooms with two, four and five beds and several apartments . Each room has its own toilet and bathroom . The heating is done by local heating. The chalet has a restaurant with 100 seats , conference hall with 40 seats and equipped with multimedia equipment. Offers visitors more internet room, playground ,internet, recreation and barbecue. Organize trips in the mountains surrounding and Belasitza with professional mountain guides . In the lower parts of Belasitza developed four thematic trails suitable for a wider audience - the paths of chestnut , butterflies , trees and ants .

Starting point for hut " Belasitza " is Petrich. From Petrich to the lodge is able to be reached by car in steep asphalt road with a length of about 9 km. Marked trail Hikes takes approximately 1.30 hours .

Nearby tourist destinations that can tempt you are: the " Roupite ", " Samuil Fortress ", " Melnik Monastery " Melnik , village Zlatolist with "St. George " . Because of its location the lodge is a practical starting point for trips to Macedonia and Greece. Namely Serres, Greece - 40 km , Thessaloniki , Greece - 90 km , Strumica , Macedonia - 53 km and the Aegean Sea - 100 km.

Objects close for short walks are " Waterfall " - 0.45 hours and place " Flat Rock" - 0.30 hours .
