Belasitza is a mountain in southwestern Bulgaria , located south of the River Strumeshnitsa . It is interesting, but relatively little popular as an object of mass tourism . To any of its villages Skrut , Key, and Yavoritsa Kolarovo lead many paths, but traffic ( with the exception of the route to the hut " Belasitza ") can be done only after consultation with the border authorities .

Kongur (1951 m ) , also called the Great Kongur , Kongur, Kongore is a mountain peak Belasitza . Rises the main mountain ridge east of Mount Punkov rock and champion Radomir . Has a domed shape with rounded slopes . It is made of metamorphic rocks. Brown forest soils . Is overgrown with grass subalpine vegetation. The northeastern his foot in the " Gingero " springs Luda Mara . The peak is the highest point of the reserve Kongura . At the crest passes the border between Bulgaria and Greece. At the very top there is an abandoned Greek surveillance towers that are visible from afar. Kongur peak is marked with boundary pyramid № 28 . Since 2008, every first Sunday of May tourist company " Kalabak " organizing mass ascent from the town of Petrich, in the framework of the celebration of the city of St. George .
On the name of the peak was named glacier (Kongur Glacier) on Smith Island , South of the archipelago Scottish Islands, Antarctica.
