Price: Slavianka (or Alibotush ) is one of the least known mountains in Bulgaria . In the past it was taken as part of Pirin , but because its border restrictions and nature tourism in the region it before 1989 , and so far less visited . This ignorance is unfair because Slavianka has very diverse and very well preserved nature and Gocev peak ( 2212 m altitude ) is one of the most impressive out of the biggest Bulgarian mountains.
The most commonly used approaches for climbing Slavianka are villages of Paril on East (municipality Hadjidimovo , from the Mesta River ) and Petrovo ( Sandanski municipality , on the west ) . Described route used as a starting point the village of Petrovo.
Since it takes the asphalt road to the village Goleshovo. The track is not diverted anywhere after six kilometers up to the hut " Spring" . She is a former frontier post , rebuilt after the collapse of the Eastern Bloc . Located in the scenic area east of Parilska Valley.
The trail continues still the asphalt road to the village Goleshovo . About 3 km after the hut pass the road deviates dirt road that headed to the area of meadows and high mountain . This is the place where begins marked in blue trail to the highest peak Gocev .
About half an hour after leaving the cart path reaches the exit left on which you can go to save time and avoid broad serpentine path . Direct path is steep and crosses forests of white pine and to reconnect to the dirt road to the place where the first tourists to open views to Gocev peak, Shabran ( 2195 m ) and Tsari peak ( 2183 m ) .
Kilometer route takes us from here in Meadow area where the shelter is built . The trail soon enters the forest of black pines , after which comes the open space , offering beautiful views Slavianka . The trail follows crest edge towards Shabran shortly before it departs and ascends obliquely . The tip is a widely meadow from which the route down to the border pyramids and leave them to Gocev peak. It reveals a beautiful view of the nearby mountains in Greece .
The track descends still more marked in the border area Belyov dol and then climbs gently sloping to Tsari peak. Here the route leaves the pyramids and turns north, and the views of the Pirin impressive. Disembarking in the northeast area of the barn to the village Paril.
