Bashliyski chukar peak

If you open a new tourist map , the northern part of Pirin mountain you will find a peak with the name of Glavnishki chukar . If you ask a mountaineer , however , he will tell you that there is no such peak . There is, because it is 2670 meters high Bashliyski chukar . After regeneration process tip was renamed , but to this day the new name not adopted by the vocal mountaineers .

Bashliyski Chukar is made of granite and is located a short ridge that starts from the top Banderishki chukar in direction southwest and divides circuses Little Spano pole and Bashliyski .

If you look from the east, from the main ridge , tops Bashliyski and Banderishki chukar and you will see as distinctive and memorable look they have . The two form a sharp tip and steep secondary circus , open to the east. At its base is located on the second level and first in depth lake Bashliyskiya circus . Two peaks form a second nested circus opened in the west to the main circus Little Spano . At the bottom lies Malospanopolskoto lake.

As for the western slope of Bashliyski Chukar , it is horseshoe-shaped vertical wall with a height of over 200 meters. In it there are climbing tour in Category 5a . The east slopes of the peak does have sloping and rocky in the higher part, and in the lower parts, covered with squat . The northern slope of the tip leads through a short col to the next peak Banderishki chukar . Saddle is steep on its western slopes and much of the eastern slope , it is passable in both directions.

Nature in the northern part of Pirin is generous from the beauty. Here you can enjoy the beautiful song of birds, the murmur of the waters of rivers and waterfalls. You can look in the crystal clear water of the lakes and experience the ancient forests . The region has caves , rock formations and historical sites, including the clock tower in Bansko Obidims monastery "St. Panteleimon " chapel" St. Ivan Rilski " in Bansko and many others.

There are a few starting points from which you can start your journey - conquering Bashliyskiya chukar . These are huts Yane Sandanski Begovitsa and shelter Spano pole. The peak can be climbed easily from northeastern Bashliysko lake or in the saddle north of the summit.
