Usually the route is Dobrinishte the road to Gotse Delchev, hence the lift to Bezbog. You can warm up around Bezbojko lake near the cabin and get ready for the route. Meanwhile you can enjoy the granite pyramids Orlovets, Nameless Peak and Mount Dzhengal. From here begins the climb to Popovo lake. After about an hour walking the road divides, the right way is Demianitza hut and forward – for the Lake and Pirin hut. Priest Lake is the second largest mountain lake in the Balkans after Smradlivoto in Rila. The crystal clear waters of the lake surrounding it looking top five: Momin yard, Kralev yard, Dzhengal, Dzhano and Sivriya. Hence passing many tourist routes leading to Vihren peak and surrounding lakes of - Kremenski and Fairy.

An interesting fact is that in Priest Lake has no fish or a snake or any other animal. The man here is trying to contribute, but to no avail - all transported fish died. Therefore, the local population tells a story that here lives water ram that eats all living creatures, dared to settle there. One of the oldest legends tells that lived near Lake Slavic pagan god Perun with his sister Iris. Iris was the most personal beauty, with its rival the sun itself. Not only was it beautiful, but was industrious and - woven in winter and early spring came down to the big mountain lake to white, then spread them on one of the nearby peaks. Therefore, this peak is called Momin yard. Sadly Iris died young, and her grave grew beautiful blue flower that people called her a name. This flower blooms only in May when peeled girl sails the lake and all were able to enjoy her beauty once a Christian priest went up to the lake to seek god Perun and banish him from the mountain. Almighty Perun was angry and sent a strong flurry against the priest, who struck him and pushed him into the lake. On the surface kilimyavkata only emerged as it became a small island. Hence the name of the lake, according to the legend.

One thing is certain - there is something magical about this lake and walk to it is lightweight and suitable for a day trip. Remember that lift to work back to 16:30. If you miss the descent from the hut takes about 2 hours.
