Spanopolski chukar peak

With its 2,576 m altitude peak Spanopolski Chukar could impress hikers, but when its location is the biggest part of Pirin - north , the effect is quite different . In this part of the mountain rise the highest peaks in Pirin , including champion Vihren, peak Kutelo, Banski suhodol and impressive Koncheto .

The tip is made of granite and is located in the northern parts of Spanopolska ridge. The latter is separated from the main mountain ridge in the eastern Chuki of sharp rocky edge sentries (aka Donchovi sentinels ) and separates two large grassy cirque Spano and Malko Spano . South of Mount Spanopolski Chukar, Spanopolska Ridge splits in two . Its eastern junction limiting Little Spano from the west and southwest and gradually descends to the hill in the area Atmegdan . Nearby there is a shelter Spano pole. Western branch of Spanopolska ridge is relatively short and ends in the lower Great Lakes cirque Spano . Western and southwestern slopes are steep and rocky , with massive rock falls in their lower parts. There is nestled one of the highest and most beautiful lakes in the circus Big Spano . From Cirque Little Spano tip seems insignificant , with sloping grassy slopes . The highlight of Spanopolski Chukar is flat , grassy , sometimes with scattered boulders .

The moment you step on Spanopolski chukar , the view will stop your breath . An impressive panorama Spano , tops Vihren Sinanitsa , Banderishki Bashliyski and chukar .

There are several routes that you can climb to the top . One starts from the shelter Spano . The shelter is located at a height of 2,055 meters in the southwestern slopes of Mount Bashliyski chukar in southern cirque Little Spano . A group of 10 two-bed bungalows, tourist dining room with kitchen and outdoor summer dining . Of shelter Spano peak Spanopolski Chukar will take you no more than two hours. The shelter used as a starting point for conquering peaks Bashliyski chukar and Banderishki chukar .
