Theater " A part" created 08.04.1985g . by Alex Petkov and one of the first alternative theaters in Bulgaria . At the beginning of " A Part" originated as a Student Theatre , under the name Student Theatre Studio . In 1988, the Student Theatre Studio after a number of theatrical experiments and work on collective improvisation , he opened his own artistic method and style, which he called " orchestrated Theatre Collective Improvisation ." At the same time, Student Theatre Studio and taking its present name " A Part" - theater term meaning " replica in countries ' remark that the actors made ​​directly to the audience hall . And in March 1990 Theatre " A Part" closes with his " Underground " period and professionalised register legally as - Experimental Theatre " A Part."

Since 2011 , the International Theatre Festival organized by the Theatre " A part" accepted the name " The whole of Europe - in the game " , which is held in Plovdiv.
