Drama Theatre Plovdiv

At present, the Plovdiv Drama Theatre has a large hall ( 468 seats) and the Chamber Hall (130 seats) in the city of Plovdiv, and since 2010 after the merger of the Rhodope Drama Theatre and the two scenes in Smolyan. The theater gave performances in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and abroad. Performances and the actors in the troupe have won numerous prestigious awards for theater.

Plovdiv Drama Theatre is co-organizer and host of the Autumn international theatrical festival "A scene on a crossroad " , which is held annually in September and whose founder and artistic director is Prof. Stefan Danailov.
