Path of Health Rakitovo - Tsigov...

Ecopath "Health" , also known as trail " Path of the ants ' connecting Rakitovo mountain resorts " Tsigov chark". The trail runs along the ridge Bardo and offers visitors spectacular views of this incredibly beautiful area of the Rhodopes. Transition is relatively lightweight, making it suitable for all age groups , seasons and mountaineers not very good physical condition . The approximate length of 5 km eco-trail offers visitors a myriad of historical, cultural and natural attractions .

The route starts from one of the largest Pride of Rakitovo - Clock Tower . It was built by Master Malik Celebi in 1872 in Brdo hill , just east of the village . Is 18.6 meters high , has an octagonal shape and is made of stone and wood, with walls about 80 cm thick . At present, the tower is one of the few preserved Renaissance clock towers in the country and attracts lovers of cultural heritage from near and far .

Then the eco-trail climbs gradually to the crest of Bardo where there are fabulous views of the city and its surroundings. Further, the route is built picnic and camping , which are separate spaces for picnics, campfires and tension tents. There are great views of the lake "Batak" - one of the largest and most beautiful in the country.

The track reaches the area Ianeva rock that was once a Thracian religious center of the road from the capital of the clan in Besapara Ridge Karkariya for peak Syutkya . Nearby is the fortress tower , which is one of the other defenses to ensure the safety of Tsepina in the Middle Ages . It is a starting point to the peaks and Syutkya, Milevi rocks, types Alabak , Chepinska valley , Velingrad, Tsigov chark and Tsepina .

To return from the Tsigov chark to Rakitovo alternative route that passes through menthol Ianeva rock, picnic area , and in the area Kartach castle tower down in the city. All along the route beautiful ancient forests full of mushrooms , herbs, rare plants and dozens of nests of the itinerary due to its informal name. The duration of the transition in one direction is about 2 hours in a normal way. Both trails are very well marked and identifiable.
